Takatsuki

Osaka, Japan

Why visit Takatsuki?

Takatsuki is a city in northern Osaka Prefecture, located on the Yodo River at the foot of Mount Tennozan. It is a major commuter city between Osaka and Kyoto, and one of the largest municipalities in Osaka Prefecture outside the city of Osaka itself. The city has a mix of urban development, agricultural land, and forested hills. It is also the location of the historic Tennozan Ridge, site of the 1582 Battle of Yamazaki.
