About Effiduase

Effiduase is a commercial town in the Ashanti Region, situated on the main Kumasi–Mampong road. Its position as a transport junction on one of Ashanti's busiest routes makes it a busy transit point and trading centre for the surrounding agricultural area. The town has grown around the road, with shops, fuel stations, and chop bars lining the highway serving passing travellers. It is primarily a working town with a functional character.

By Plane

Kumasi International Airport (KMS) is 25 km south. Trotros from Kumasi take about 30 minutes.

By Train

No passenger rail service.

By Car / Road

Effiduase is on the paved road from Kumasi to Mampong. Trotros and shared taxis run frequently from Kumasi.

The town is spread along the main road and is walkable in the centre. Motorbike taxis are available.
