Tandjilé

Tandjilé is a province in southern Chad, located in the Logone River basin. The capital is Lai. The region is agricultural, producing cotton, rice, and millet. The population is predominantly Ngambaye and Sara. The landscape is flat savanna with gallery forests along the rivers.

November to April is the dry season.

Lai is connected by road to Moundou and N'Djamena. Bush taxis operate.
